Kathi Ostrom Gowsell

In 2011, I was sitting at my desk in a corporate office wondering why. I had two grown children on the verge of flying the nest and a husband working 8 hours away. It was obvious change was needed. For eight years, I lived what I called My Temporary Life, spending 6 months at home and 6 months in a contract destination with my husband. I've reconnected with him and my writing. I've examined family life, observed the world around me and written about it in my journal and on my blog. It’s now thirteen years later. I’ve transitioned through the empty nest. The Temporary Life has come to an end. For five years I worked back at a desk job but am officially retired from traditional work. Finally. Now, I’m focused on creative revival and ready to share all that is good in life!
